Chrissy Teigen has been criticized by many as of late due to the series of controversial tweets she made in the past. Shortly after this news came out, a lot of speculations regarding her personal life emerged. One of the biggest rumors surrounding her is that her marriage with John Legend is on the rocks and they are now heading for a divorce.

Ever since Tiegen’s tweets surfaced, her marriage with Legend was put in question. According to a recent story from Star, the singer cannot stand being “bullied and humiliated”. This is allegedly one of the major reasons why the two are getting a divorce. The outlet cited an unnamed source to support the claim that the couple is going on separate ways.

“John had the patience of a saint. He loves her but their relationship is being stressed to the max. Without a doubt, this is the biggest test of their marriage,” the insider said.

The publication said that Legend does love his wife and children. Teigen's miscarriage in 2020 made their marriage even stronger. However, their relationship may allegedly fall apart because of the recent controversy, as well as her possible alcohol dependence. The unnamed insider added that Legend’s friends are encouraging him to take a break.

“There are some people who wonder how and why he puts up with Chrissy and all her drama.”

The article concluded that the singer could take their children, “Miles, 5, and three-year-old Luna,” in the event that they separate. Now, the major question is whether or not Tiegen and Legend are getting divorce as the latter could not stand being bullied and humiliated. There are, however, several problems in the tabloid’s story.

The outlet mentioned the ages of the couple’s kids, but Miles is three years old and Luna is five – not the other way around. Another thing is that Tiegen and Legend know each other for many years, so it is unlikely the singer isn’t aware of the controversial tweets his wife shared in the past. Some of these were even dated around 2011, the time the two got engaged.

Meanwhile, Teigen posted a public apology on her social media on May 12 and has since remained silent on the issue. Yet, Legend is still active on his social media platforms and even shared a photo of his wife, mother-in-law, and Luna during her daughter’s recital in early June. Unlike what the tabloid claimed, their marriage isn’t seemingly rocked by the recent controversy.
