Prince Harry just debunked the rumors that he and Meghan Markle are trying to have another child.

The Duke of Sussex was quoted by Closer USA as saying that Markle’s second pregnancy is not something that can be forced.

“It will happen when it’s going to happen,” he said.

According to the tabloid, Markle is allegedly contemplating giving her 1-year-old son, Archie a younger sibling.

Last month, a source close to the Duchess of Sussex shared details from their recent conversation. Markle allegedly told her friend that she wants to give Archie a pint-sized playmate other than her dogs.

Markle’s comment was picked up by Closer USA. A source told the tabloid that baby number two is in the cards sooner rather than later for Prince Harry and Markle.

“It wouldn’t be surprising if Meghan becomes pregnant before the end of the year,” the source said.

As of late, Prince Harry and Markle have not yet confirmed the latter’s second pregnancy. But there has been so much talk surrounding the subject since the Duchess of Sussex gave birth to Archie.

Earlier this year, the “Suits” heightened speculations that she could be expecting. At that time, Markle stepped out in public for a royal engagement. She was photographed with her hand covering her abdominal area.

Two years ago, Markle did the exact same gesture when she arrived in Australia for her first overseas tour with Prince Harry. Shortly after, the palace announced that she’s expecting.

However, body language expert Judi James previously told Express that Markle’s pregnancy cannot be confirmed by her belly-covering gesture. After all, a lot of women do this regularly.

“But this kind of belly-covering can also be common with new mothers, especially mums like Meghan who developed a habit of bump-cradling throughout her first pregnancy,” she said.

Kate Middleton is also known for doing the same hand-cupping ritual but it can never also confirm her pregnancies.

As of late, it is still unclear how Markle’s second pregnancy will be announced. After all, she is not a working royal anymore.

Since the royal couple still doesn’t have a social media account, royal fans may just see Markle with her growing baby bump while she’s out in public.

The pregnancies of female royals are usually announced by the palace three months after the couples find out that they are expecting.
