Academy Award-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the most accomplished actors in Hollywood. He has been nominated for Oscars for several film roles and is known to have performed different types of characters. Yet, the actor reveals that one thing, which he hated doing while acting in a film.

DiCaprio first grabbed the spotlight after his stellar performance in the 1997 blockbuster hit Titanic. He did not have to look back after that as there were plenty of meaty roles offered to him.

Many fans know him to be a perfectionist who can go to any length to make his characters look realistic on screen. One of his prominent roles has been as that of the former stockbroker Jordan Belfort in the film titled The Wolf of Wall Street, which hit theaters in 2013.

Jonah Hill and Margot Robbie were his co-stars in the movie. DiCaprio considers it to be one of his most favorite films to date. He felt incredible while performing the character as he felt he was not answerable to anyone in the movie, according to NPR. The actor feels the movie was “insane” and extraordinarily entertaining.

For the universe, the actor has received nominations for an Oscar seven times. Yet, he had to wait for around two decades to bag an Academy Award in 2016. He was earlier nominated at four other award shows for the same film.

Finally, Leonardo DiCaprio won the Best Actor Award at the Oscars for the film The Revenant. It could have been a dream coming true for the actor as it was one of the toughest roles.

The film followed the character Hugh Glass, portrayed by DiCaprio, while he traverses through the wilds. There were some difficult challenges before the actor as he wanted to look at the film as real as possible.

DiCaprio not only walked through chilled waters but had to bear the bitter cold winter while acting in the movie. One of the things the actor detested doing in that film was to eat raw liver while shooting for a scene.

The actor confirmed having eaten raw liver while being interviewed by Timeout. He did so as the production gave him a fake liver, which did not look genuine enough.

However, luckily for the actor, he had to do it just twice, and his reactions came real on screen. It was the worst thing the actor ever did for any role in his acting career.

However, the ordeal fetched Leonardo DiCaprio rewards to rejoice about as he finally won his maiden Oscar for the role, according to Showbiz Cheat Sheet
