David Oyelowo has opened up about his kids enjoying play dates with Angelina Jolie’s children at the latter’s residence. The actor revealed how he got to see a wonderful and unknown side of Jolie because of this.

The 44-year-old actor revealed that his kids share a close bond with the Maleficent star’s children as they often play together at the actress’ home. The Midnight Sky star shares one daughter and three sons with his wife, Jessica.

He discussed this while participating in The One Show this Wednesday and jested how the kids create a ruckus while playing together at his Come Away co-star’s mansion. The Jack Reacher actor also shared how he met Jolie for the first time.

They met at a birthday bash many years ago where they discussed their kids. They bonded over these discussions as they both have a lot of kids in their respective houses. These playdates also revealed a new side of Jolie, which is hardly seen in her films.

As soon as he got a script that could explore her personality as a mother, he decided to share it with her. He is thankful that the actress agreed to let the world see this wonderful side of her as a mom, according to Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, speculations are rife that Jolie had always wanted to play the role of Cleopatra. So, she was mad when the Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot, reportedly, got the role of the famous Egyptian Queen.

It seems the Maleficent actress has always dreamt to play the role of the iconic queen of Egypt. A magazine has now alleged that the actress was extremely upset that the Justice League actress was considered over her to portray the much-coveted role.

Jolie feels that the Wonder Woman star has stolen the role, which was befitting for her, according to Gossip Cop. There have been other occasions in the past when Angelina Jolie has been said to be angry with another actress for not being able to portray the role of Cleopatra.

In other news, the Salt actress showed her support for all those women who thought they would be exposed to more incidents of abuse during this holiday season. Incidentally, Jolie is also a special envoy for UN High Commissioner for Refugees.

Angelina Jolie feels that topics such as gender-based violence and domestic abuse are not given top priority. She said so while being interviewed by Harper’s Bazaar this month.
