Christmas celebrations of the Royal Firm has been a big part of the UK media for decades now. Although there are still no announcements on how the family will be celebrating the winter holidays, good news has been revealed by the Kensington Royals.

Prince William and Kate Middleton, together with their three children Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2, will be releasing a new family portrait this Christmas, and fans cannot wait.

The Cambridge’s has been a major branch in the royal firm, with two of future King in the Kensington household, it is always a great way for the public to take a peek inside the royal’s development.

In the past several years' Prince William and Kate Middleton have made sure that their Christmas portrait projects the family as like any other family in Britain. Instead of looking regal, the couple has always portrayed a down-to-earth family.

A look back into their portraits, in 2019, the Cambridge’s released a family portrait where their three children surrounded the two royal parents.

Then one-year-old, Prince Louis captured the hearts of the public after wearing a simple dungaree and a white shirt, sitting on the lap of his father.

Prince William was sitting on a vintage motorbike with a sidecar holding Louis, while Prince George and Princess Charlotte looked like they were enjoying standing on the sidecar. Kate Middleton was standing next to the motorbike beside Prince William, wearing a lovely teal wrap dress from Boden and a smile that could stop time.

The photo was first released through patronage the couple has been supporting. Unfortunately, it was a leaked photo of the portrait, but soon after, the royal pair decidedly published the official one.

As for their Christmas holidays, reports are circulating that the Cambridge’s will not be spending their festivities with the Queen this year.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are to spend it with Kate’s parents in Berkshire. Furthermore, the Queen’s traditional Sandringham Christmas will most likely be cancelled this year, with the monarch and her husband Prince Philip celebrating in Windsor Castle.

Prince Charles, Camilla Parker-Bowles, and Prince Edward’s family are the likely royal members to be joining the Queen’s Christmas bubble. As for the family portraits of the aforementioned royals, there is no update yet.
