The town, which is under attack by demons, gets another unexpected enemy in King's Raid: Successors of the Will Episode 9. The next episode is titled Scars of the Dead.

The official King's Raid: Successors of the Will Episode 9 preview trailer has been out teasing the arrival of an unexpected foe.

“I will put an end to everything in this world! Let us dance to the realm beyond death! In a town that was attacked by Demons, we encounter an unexpected enemy. What are the intentions of the man still remaining in the town? Can the wails of the survivor reach his loved one,” reads the preview text from King's Raid: Successors of the Will Episode 9.

The last episode of the series shows Kasel, Roi, Frey and Cleo pass through a village as they meet a little girl.

Later, they bump into the mayor Hendel of the village. He shows them a structure that was the assembly hall for the region. However, they are using it as shelter.

Kasel asks if something happened in the village.  

It turns out, the town north of the village was ambushed by demons and everyone escaped to this village.

Now, the people of the village are working together to build new houses. However, they severely lack manpower.

Frey wants to help them. Later, she meets the mysterious girl again in the shelter. Frey sees something in her eyes that seem odd to her. She learns that her name is Elise and she doesn’t talk at all.

Later, Frey hugs Elise in an attempt to heal her. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang wonder if they should stay back and help the people of the village or leave. Frey asks them if they can stay for the night. Kasel tells Frey that they need to get to the holy sword as soon as they can.

The gang decides to stay the night in the village. The mayor welcomes them with open arms. Meanwhile, Frey wants to comfort Elise and help her smile and laugh again.

King's Raid: Successors of the Will Episode 9 is scheduled to hit the airwaves on Friday, Nov. 27 at 11:23 a.m. ET. Funimation is live streaming the anime series for premium subscribers.
