Captain Yami notes in the preview trailer for Black Clover Episode 153 that time flies, recalling the first time he met Noelle and Asta.

In the last Black Clover episode, Noelle is seen using her Water Creation Magic: Sea Dragon’s Roar during a training session. Meanwhile, she is using her spell against her team member named Asta.

The Black Bulls members are training rigorously in September for the upcoming battle with the devil and the Spade Kingdom.

Meanwhile, the recent clash of the Captains ignited a spark in Asta and Noelle to become even stronger so as to face any threat. They eagerly await the day to train with Spirit Guardians from the Heart Kingdom.

Later in the episode, Finral, Yami, and others arrive and they embark on a new journey to Castle Town Kikka. The people of Kikka are preparing for the annual Magic Knights Entrance Exam at the coliseum.

Asta and Noelle watch the candidates enter the coliseum as people cheer for them. Unlike other years, this year, there are fewer participants due to the recent attacks by the Eye of the Midnight Sun. Meanwhile, Nozel is surprised to see Noelle in the town. She tells him that Asta invited her as they can get back to their roots as Magic Knights and get ready for the impending battle.

She remembers how her brother Nozel did not want her to go fight the battle in the first place. She tells Nozel how she couldn’t help but wonder why she got part of the Black Bulls.

However, Noelle is truly grateful to be a part of the gang. She announces that now she has precious friends and family members. Nozel tells Noelle that she has grown up and left. Deep down, he tells himself that she has the potential to grow even more.
