Yet another Hollywood personality has joined the list of celebrities that have revealed that they tested positive for the coronavirus. This time it is singer and actor Ben Platt who has revealed his positive diagnosis.

The Hollywood Reporter says that the 27-year-old made the revelation over the weekend while answering fans' questions on Twitter. When a fan asked if he knew someone who had COVID-19, Platt said that he contracted the disease last March.

According to Platt, the disease felt like a flu that lasted for three weeks. He also revealed that he has already recovered from the disease and commiserated with people who have not been lucky enough to survive the coronavirus.

Just last week, Hugh Grant revealed that he recovered from the coronavirus. The 60-year-old actor shared the positive diagnosis on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, stating that he probably contracted it back in February.

Among the symptoms that Grant shared was not being able to smell anything as well as difficulty breathing. He also said that he started sweating profusely and felt that his eyeballs had swollen to three times its size.

Besides Grant, other celebrities that have recently tested positive for the coronavirus include Khloe Kardashian and YouTuber Harvey Cantwell, who both revealed their positive results on their respective television shows.

Kardashian confirmed she did have the coronavirus on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, saying her symptoms were vomiting, headaches, and a fluctuating body temperature.

Cantwell, meanwhile, tested positive for the coronavirus while preparing for his sting on Strictly Come Dancing. He tested negative for the virus after spending a week in quarantine.

Actors Jim Parsons, Antonio Banderas, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Anna Camp, Bryan Cranston, and Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have also tested positive for the coronavirus.

As of Nov. 15, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that there are now 10,846,373 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the United States. The number of people that have died from COVID-19 is now at 244,810 people.

Before making his revelation on Twitter, People reports that Platt had tweeted about celebrating 10 months of dating his boyfriend, fellow actor Noah Galvin. He shared an image of the two of them on his Instagram story celebrating the milestone.

Platt and Galvin made their relationship official on social media back in July after Platt posted himself hugging Galvin on Twitter. The tweet currently has more than 60,000 likes.

Both Platt and Galvin played the lead in the smash-hit musical Dear Evan Hansen. Platt has gone on to star in Netflix’s The Politician while Galvin played the lead in the 2020 staging of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
