Tom Cruise has had three failed marriages in the past. The actor is one of the most eligible bachelors in the world today. A certain tabloid hints though that the Hollywood A-lister has given preference to religious beliefs over his love life. How true is the narrative?

The Top Gun actor has been married thrice. While Mimi Rogers has been his first wife, he had been subsequently married to Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes. Unfortunately, all these three marriages ended in divorce.

A magazine now insists that the Church has always been the top preference for the actor. While the actor has had a Midas touch in all aspects of life, he has not been as lucky in love in his life.

It is interesting to note that the actor has been associated with the Church of Scientology for several years, but such a rumor has sparked all of a sudden. Also, fans would be aware that the actor has been often linked to many stunning women.

One should also not forget that the actor was associated with Scientology even while he was married. Would he have found love in the first place if all these gorgeous women would have stayed away from him simply because of his religious beliefs?

A source even snitched that the actor would not get detached from the Church for the sake of love. Just last month, a tabloid reported that the actor could be going around with Hayley Atwell, his co-star in Mission Impossible 7, Gossip Cop reports. While the news could not be proved, it could be an indication that the actor is not immune to the fairer sex’s charms.

Speaking of Mission Impossible 7, the actor was spotted with a few of his important co-stars this Wednesday as shooting for the film resumed after being suspended for some time.

Tom Cruise was seen with his co-stars Simon Pegg and Rebecca Ferguson in Venice, where filming of the movie is currently underway. Shooting for the film got disrupted due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Daily Mail reports.

It was just last month when there was a report, which purported the production team informed hundreds of extras that they were not supposed to come for shooting, which was scheduled (via The Sun).

Although the extras were not told the reason for such an abrupt halt to the filming, reports have it that some members were tested positive with the COVID-19 virus. As such, the shooting had to be temporarily stopped.

Last, but not least, this is not the first time Tom Cruise is being subjected to criticisms because of his association with the Church of Scientology. There is a high likelihood of the report claiming that Cruise is not finding love because of the Church to be incorrect.
