Stylist and lecturer at the Fashion Retail Academy in London Anthony McGrath spoke to Express UK regarding Kate’s fashion in her latest engagements. The stylist believes that Kate’s chosen wardrobes are a subtle hint that she is ready to become Queen Consort.

"She had to leave behind the flirty and floaty dress, thigh-skimming minis and low-cut evening gowns. Instead, she introduced skirt suits and coat dresses, which have since become staple items in her wardrobe,” Anthony said.

The stylist continued to explain that the Duchess, although she has become more demure in her clothing choice, has kept it at a minimal changing, gathering that she is not trying to become something she is not.

McGrath praised her flawless transition from Duchess level style to Queen level style, saying that Kate did well by taking it slow and refining it through the years rather than extremely up hauling her style.
