Much to her worried fans' relief, Britney Spears posted a short clip to her Instagram account to let them know that she is fine. Fans had raised concerns regarding the pop singer's well-being following her two-week social media hiatus.

The 38-year-old "Baby One More Time" singer posted the Instagram video on Monday, giving her fans a life update, and addressing comments on her social media accounts regarding her health and safety. She started the video by noting that her social media comments section was teeming with all sorts of speculations concerning her well-being and confirmed that she is fine.

She went on to say that she is actually happiest she has ever been in her life. Towards the end of the short video, she gave her loyal fans a lot of love, prayers, and wishes. She followed up this clip with a new photo of herself sporting a plaid top.

Referring to the first picture of the two-photo slideshow, she said it was captured over the weekend, while the second one was taken three months ago but she didn't share it at the time. She did not directly allude to the #FreeBritney movement, which demands her release from her conservatorship.

The singer's loyal fans took to the comments section of her recent posts speculating about her mental health and safety, pointing out that some of her posts appear to be abnormal. In one of her recent posts, pop star Bebe Rexha inquired about Spears' health, saying she hopes that the "Oops!... I Did It Again" hitmaker was doing well.

In the comments section of another post, one of Spears' fans asked if the singer saw the 5 billion comments enquiring about her well-being and safety. In one of the photos she posted in Sept., another commenter noted that she had been posting several photos wearing the same shirt and was concerned if she was okay.

Earlier this month, the songstress' sister Jamie Lynn Spears appeared for an interview with Good Morning America, telling the outlet that her sister is trying to stay positive amid the still-raging coronavirus pandemic.  Jamie Lynn said she is doing just like others, trying to make the best while staying positive during these unprecedented times.

Spears has been involved in a long conservatorship battle. Last month, her father Jamie pulled out a petition to appoint attorney Andrew Wallet as co-conservator of the singer's estate again. This was revealed in the documents acquired by PEOPLE.
