The situation of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s plans for their Christmas holiday has been dragged on by the media for quite some time now.

It was reported several weeks before that Prince Harry was to return to the UK soon for crisis talks with the Queen. Several reports claim Harry and Meghan will be spending their winter holidays with the royal family.

The following reports have been reported as rumors only, but Ingrid Seward claims that Prince Harry might be ‘forced’ to return to the UK.

The royal author and editor-in-chief of The Majesty Magazine tells Express UK that Prince Harry’s current status as a British citizen will see him be required to fly back to London.

Ms. Seward explained that not only is the Meghan Markle’s court case an important matter the Sussex have to attend to in the UK but Prince Harry also needs to dodge being taxed heavily.

"Prince Harry will also have to come back at some point, regardless of the case, because of his tax situation. He isn’t an American citizen,” Seward commented on Harry’s situation.

It is unclear whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will return as they will also have to battle the travel restrictions imposed on visitors in London due to the ongoing pandemic.

Earlier this month, the Dailymail reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be skipping the winter holidays with the royal and has opted to celebrate their first Christmas in America with Harry’s ‘surrogate father, music producer David Foster and his wife actress Katherine McPhee.

Both Harry and Meghan were seen last week on a double date with Foster and McPhee in an expensive steakhouse in downtown Los Angeles.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not commented on the rumors that they will be doing Christmas together with the Hollywood stars.

Seward also commented that Prince Harry’s current situation would be a big factor of him coming back to the UK, whether with or without Meghan Markle or their son, Archie Harrison.

Rumors of an impending UK trip of Prince Harry has also brought up the discussion of where the Prince will choose to stay.

It is alleged that if the Prince were to make a trip back to his native land, he would opt to stay in a hotel rather than with the Queen or with Prince William in Kensington Palace. Frogmore Cottage is also not an option for the Prince.
