When Nikki Bella shared her friend Hiram Garcia's recently published photography book on Instagram last week, she was hoping to promote the book to her fans and followers on social media. Much to the chagrin of the former WWE Superstar, her post garnered negative comments, instead, with some commenters urging others to boycott all Bella products.

Bella recently opened up about the whole incident during The Bella Podcast, divulging details about what exactly went down. She started the podcast by talking about the effort authors put into publishing their first books, or any book for that matter.

She went on to speak about how proud authors feel once their first book is published and hits the store shelves, noting that it feels like a huge accomplishment. She said as soon as she received the newly published book in the mail, she remembered the time when their book dubbed, Incomparable was released.

Nikki decided to recommend the book to her social media followers with what she called "a love post." Tending to her 3-months-old son Matteo, Nikki asked, "so I put it up, right?" but he went back to a nap. Nikki said she was shocked to see her social media post turned into a political debate.

She soon realized that the angry commenters weren't attacking the book's author, but were taking jabs at Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. It didn't take long for the 36-year-old professional wrestler to realize that the book is about The Rock: photography, who recently endorsed Joe Biden.

She went on to explain that she wasn't even thinking about Johnson's endorsement of Biden when she shared the post. Frustrated with the negative response she received, Nikki said it felt bad that she could support a friend and their amazing accomplishment. Still, it all turns into negativity with you receiving a backlash for a non-political post that turns into something political, E! reported.

In the wake of the hate, she was receiving for her post, Nikki initially decided to delete it because she always believed that there is no winning discussing politics, she told in the podcast. The photo remained, and Nikki had a message for the trollers and haters who left hateful comments on her post.

Nikki, whose real name is Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, said her social media account is a place for "positivity, love, and light." She added that she respects everyone's belief because she was raised to believe, and she learned on her own that everyone has different opinions and beliefs.
