Chrissy Teigen and John Legend who were expecting their third baby together suffered a major loss. The 34-year-old supermodel broke the news on social media with a heartbreaking message.

The couple announced the news in August that they are expecting a new member of their family. Fast forward one month, the model was rushed to the hospital on Sept. 27 after she experienced complications in her pregnancy.

The television personality and entrepreneur took Instagram to express her deep pain and said that she and Legend are extremely shocked by what fans could only hear. She noted that this pain is something that they have never experienced before.

"We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions," she wrote on social media. The model further said that no matter how much blood they added, it didn't turn out to be enough for the baby.

The model revealed that she and her husband used to never decide the name of the baby until they were born. They used to always decide the name before leaving the hospital but this time was different for the couple.

The A Legendary Christmas with John and Chrissy star said that somehow the couple started addressing the baby in the belly as Jack. She said that now, the baby will always remain Jack to the couple. The model further wrote while addressing the little one as Jack and said that he worked extremely hard in order to be part of their family, which they consider he is already.

Teigen further addressed her little Jack and apologized for the complications he had to face during the initial moment of his life. She also mentioned emotionally that the couple couldn't provide Jack a home that was required to survive.

The model ended her post by thanking all her fans and followers for supporting them by sending positive energy, prayers, and thoughts. She said that they appreciate their concern and love them truly. The couple further mentioned that they are grateful for having a life full of amazing experience and their two babies, Luna Simone Stephens, who is four-year-old and Miles Theodore Stephens who is two-year-old.

However, she admitted that not all days are filled with sunshine and these are those dark days that they will have to cry out and grieve. Teigen received condolences from many celebrities such as Hailey Bieber, Gabrielle Union, Kardashian West, Paris Hilton, and Kyle Richards.
