While Katy Perry is barely a few hours away from reaching the milestone of one month being a mother, she took an opportunity to appreciate all the mothers for everything they go through. However, Perry also slammed the popular misconception around the motherhood.

The 35-year-old singer and songwriter tweeted on Sept. 25 that it is a mistake to believe that becoming a mother is not a job, that too full-time. Yes, the popular star took a dig at people who consider mothers took an off as they were on a leave and said that they return to their professional work after being on a "full-time job".

"When a mom finally goes back to work (whatever profession they do) it’s not like they been coming from months of “time off...” she’s coming from a full-time job... of being a mom," Perry tweeted. While many fans looked at her tweet as a remark, many fanatics thought that the singer has been hinting towards her come back.

The Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection star tweeted an array of posts further and shared her thoughts on motherhood. Moreover, she encouraged her fans and followers to call up their mothers and thank them and urged them to advocate on family leave, which should be paid.

Daisy Dove Bloom, who was born on Aug. 26 this year is not old enough to speak and thank her mother, Perry joked about it and said that it doesn't bother her because she loves her work. Since the pop star became a mother, she admitted trying to adjust with the new member of the family and her sleep routine.

Sometime back, the singer posted a selfie of herself and created "exhaustion" for her makeup and hairdo. However, Perry was unable to be a part of the MTV Video Music Awards this year but she figured out a way to celebrate her nomination, Harleys in Hawaii for Best Cinematography.

While the selfie became the talk of the town as she gave a sneak peek of her bare baby bump and added a GIF of VMAs in the story. Considering her professional work, even during the pregnancy she has been celebrating her latest dropped album called Smile.

The album garnered positive feedback from the fanatics and it was directed by Mathew Miguel Cullen. A source revealed that Perry and her fiance, Orlando Bloom are extremely happy with the bundle of joy entered their life.
