Brad Pitt is no longer interested in fighting for and keeping Chateau Miraval.

According to Globe, after years of fighting for the lavish property, Pitt has given up hope to keep the vineyard. And since the Ad Astra actor has been sober for years, he, allegedly, doesn’t think that it’s fitting to keep the place.

“It simply doesn’t make sense for him to be selling and advising a product he can’t even sample,” the source said.

However, the tabloid also said that Angelina Jolie doesn’t want to keep Chateau Miraval either. After learning that Pitt took Nicole Poturalski there, all the more did the Maleficent star refuse to keep the property.

“Angie found it tacky and pathetic that he’d bring this new partner, who’s less than half his age, to a property they still co-own. I’m sure it gave her an extra reason to wash her hands of the place,” the source said.

The insider also said that Jolie and Pitt were not really interested in growing and selling wine. However, when they purchased Chateau Miraval for $65 million in 2011, it already came with it.

“They don’t really have a sentimental attachment to it. They got into it because it came with the house, basically. The product became a sensation in part due to Brad and Angelina’s romance, and that’s been dead for years. They both want to let it go. They have way bigger priorities in their lives,” the source said.

In August 2019, OK! magazine claimed that Pitt and Jolie were fighting over Miraval. A source claimed that Jolie demanded to keep the property because she knows how much Pitt loved it there.

“It’s the final sticking point. At first, it looked like Angelina wasn’t going to fight him on it, but suddenly she changed her mind. She realized how much it would drive him crazy,” the source said.

The insider said that Pitt thinks that Jolie won’t really keep Chateau Miraval. Rather, she wants to gain full ownership of the property so that she could eventually sell it.

“He thinks Angelina would probably sell the place just to be nasty. He still likes to sneak away there and walk through the grounds, checking on the progress of the vines. It’s a passion of his and he’ll fight to the end to make sure he gest to keep his chateau – meaning the lawyers are preparing for another battle,” the source said.

However, Pitt and Jolie have not openly expressed their desire to keep or let go of Chateau Miraval. And nothing has been finalized yet with regards to their divorce settlement.
