Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have, allegedly, called a truce in their relationship after learning that they are both pregnant at the same time.

According to In Touch Weekly, the duchesses were overjoyed by the news that they ended up crying and talking to each other.

“Meghan got so emotional when she heard Kate was also having a girl that she called her to congratulate her and broke down in tears. Kate was shocked. But then things went downhill – fast. They started arguing over who would get to name their little girl Diana,” the source said.

The insider claimed that Middleton thinks she should get the first dibs on the name because she’s been part of the royal family longer. However, Markle was, allegedly, upset with this argument. The Duchess of Sussex thinks that she has as much right to use the name as Middleton.

Meanwhile, the sisters-in-law are also trying to outdo each other when it comes to their baby’s nursery. Markle is, allegedly, willing to shell out a huge sum of money for an African-themed nursery.

Middleton, on the other hand, doesn’t care if her baby’s nursery has the latest technology. After all, she has an old-fashioned taste and likes to keep things traditional and simple.

“In Kate’s mind, it would be a total waste of money to spend money on new baby gear when she has everything already. Meghan’s the opposite. Most of her baby clothes are designer – Burberry, Gucci, and Stella McCartney – and brand new. She didn’t chuck Archie’s old clothes. She donated most of them to charity and having a little girl to dress up is always exciting for mothers to be,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Markle and Middleton aren’t pregnant at the same time, and they’re not expecting baby girls.

Since the duchesses aren’t expecting, it is also untrue that Markle phoned Middleton to congratulate her on the latter’s pregnancy.

Prince William and Prince Harry’s respective wives aren’t also feuding over who could name their daughter Diana. Middleton and Markle both have the right to call their daughters as such if they wish to do so.

And since there’s no pregnancy, there’s also no reason for Markle and Middleton to compete over their baby’s nurseries and clothes.
