In late 2019, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg had an opportunity to have a meeting and a private dinner with President Donald Trump. The visit to Washington DC wasn’t a pleasant one for the multi-billionaire as it was taken to be the aim of fiery questions of lawmakers.

However, as Zuckerberg met with Trump, he might have gotten better insights about the President’s attitude towards society and society-related issues. Also, that happened to be the first time, Zuck met the President of the United States.

A variety of feelings float about when it comes to Facebook’s relationship with politics, but Zuckerberg has first time openly spoken about what he actually feels about Donald Trump's character. In conversation with Axios, the Facebook CEO shared his unfiltered thoughts about Trump.

Describing what it was like to meet Trump, Zuckerberg said that the most interesting part of the meeting was to get to know that the President is exactly what he portrays himself as. In other words, Trump is exactly how he is interpreted by people from all the stuff he keeps saying in public.

When asked to get into the details of his interaction with the President, Zuck didn’t offer much of a glimpse into his interaction.

However, during his interview on CBS This Morning in 2019, Zuckerberg had revealed the bits of his dinner with Trump in a  little detail.

Shedding light on what the two talked about, Zuck told the presenter Gayle King that Trump and he discussed the topics that were trending in news those days and some amount of what he had in his mind during the dinner.

In addition to that, the Facebook CEO also denied all the allegations and claims that Donald Trump ever tried to lobby him on the subject of political ads on Facebook. Zuckerberg straight-forwardly said, "No. I think some of the stuff people talk about or think gets discussed in these discussions are not really how that works.”

Adding to that, Zuckerberg suggested that he would like to keep the private discussion of the private dinner - private and that is something he respects.

Lately, Facebook has cleared up its agenda that it is no longer wants to be in the bad light due to unwanted political issues. The CEO announced in a post that Facebook won’t accept political ads in the period of seven days prior to the election.

Additionally, Facebook has made a lot of amendments that are proving to be helpful to American voters.
