Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are both active supporters of the ‘Invictus Games’, which is a yearly game for wounded soldiers. Harry who served in the British Army for 10 years, helped create this event and is a patron for many organizations alike to Invictus. This years Invictus games were unfortunately canceled due to the current pandemic happening.

Now a bombshell was dropped, the fundraising event for the Invictus Games 2021 has been canceled, the said event was to be broadcasted on Amazon TV but due to the recent deal of Harry and Meghan with Netflix, the plug has been pulled.

The fundraising event has been planned for many months now and the foundation expected to garner over a million dollars for the event.

Stars have also pledged their support to the cause by performing for the fundraising event, the likes of Beyonce and Ed Sheeran were already in the roster for the show.

Officials of the show were shocked when a sudden call for lawyers of Harry and Meghan citing the fundraising event to be canceled happened due to unforeseen ‘conflicts’.

“It's very bad form and everyone at Invictus is gutted. 'Harry said yes to doing this last year and everything was still moving forwards until a few weeks ago. This was going to be a big moment for Invictus where the pot is pretty empty, and it has left them in the lurch. Harry needs to pull his finger out to find another way to raise funds for them”, a source from inside the Invictus foundation said.

Although this news seems devastating, Prince Harry is still fully supportive of the Invictus games and according to sources close to the couple, Harry is working on another way for the Invictus games to push through next year as well as a fundraising event.

Harry and Meghan are concentrating right now on creating content for Netflix. The couple is said to be building their own production company, which I yet to be named, and the couple is putting in a lot of effort in creating content that will spread awareness and send a message to a worldwide audience.

The Invictus game is part of their plans for the next months, pulling the plug to the fundraising project may be part of their move to create a better event for the games.

The Sussex’s are also working on creating a charitable organization called ‘Archewell’ after the Sussex charity was dissolved.
