Even though rapper Eminem has shared that he and music icon Mariah Carey have joined together for a brief relationship in 2011, the diva responded with denial about her and Eminem's alleged romance.

The 50-year-old 'Always Be My Baby' singer sits with Vulture as she addresses the rumor if the alleged fling she went through with Eminem will be in the book.

"There's some songs that I can sing in response to that, but I will not do it," the singer said. She then added that if anybody or a thing that didn't reference or pertains to the definite meaning of the memoir, it is understandable that they will not be mentioned.

So to put an end to all the rumors, Mariah's statement confirmed that Eminem wouldn't be in the singer's upcoming memoir entitled 'The Meaning of Mariah Carey.' The supporters of the two artists' expectations were abruptly snatched when Mariah made her stand about the matter, saying Eminem doesn't mean anything to her at all.

Marshal Matter, aka Eminem, first made known his shocking claims in 2002 on the track called 'Superman' from 'The Eminem Show.' Part of the words sings this way: "What you trying to be, my new wife? / What you, Mariah? Fly through twice."

On another track of the rapper titled 'When The Music Stops,' he exudes Mariah's great plead to take him back.

However, despite all of these rumors and accusations, the songstress took the 'Larry King Live' show and tried to shut it down. She said that it was only a hangout and a few talks on the phone. It was also about four times that she and Eminem were together, and she never considered it as dating.

With Mariah shutting down the allegation, the rapper persisted his claim that he and Mariah dated. In an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone in 2002, the rapper said that he only accepted the singer's words because he doesn't want to disrespect her as a singer. But if someone asks him about Mariah personally, he would say he doesn't like her as a person.

According to Hollywood Life, Mariah is the first pop star to quash Eminem's trash-talking trademark in 2003. She sang about it on his 'Clown' track.

Well, Eminem was able to fire back at Mariah during his 'Anger Management' tour in 2005, where he played voice recording that was, allegedly, from the singer.

The last time Mariah responded to Eminem is from her 'Obsessed' track, where she made a music video that depicts an obsessed man that looks like Eminem.
