Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn are among the most-private couples of this generation. Though they have been together for two years now, the public only knows a few details about their relationship. This is, also, among the many reasons why their romance has been plagued with various speculations.

Heat UK, in its Aug. 22, 2020 issue, claimed that Taylor and Joe are planning to elope. Unnamed sources stated that the pair could not wait for another year to tie the knot. Because of this, they are, allegedly, considering having a quickie wedding.

“They’d planned to hold something in the UK, but with the travel ban in place, they’ve moved to plan B,” an anonymous insider close to Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn told the entertainment news publication.

The same tipster added that the couple is looking at the “possibility of holding a Zoom wedding.” The two might, also, hosting a quick and intimate event in Nashville, where they are, currently, staying, with a few guests.

The publication shared that Taylor Swift still wants a fabulous party. However, with the current global health crisis, the only thing she wants now is to become Mrs. Alwyn.

“Joe was afraid Taylor would be disappointed without the big white wedding, but she’s assured him that she doesn’t need a big show,” the informant said. “So long as they have each other, that’s enough for her,” it added.

Entertainment Times, previously, reported that Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have engaged secretly. An insider told In Touch Weekly that the “You Belong with Me” singer has accepted her boyfriend’s wedding proposal in March.

Some fans even suggested that Taylor’s “Folklore” album gave hints on her, alleged, engagement. The magazine reported that that the “Invisible String” track detailed how he was destined to be married to her partner of four years. The first letter of the first song in the album is “I” while the last word on her final single is “do.”

It remains to be seen if there rumors and speculations are true. Both Taylor and Joe have yet to release an official statement about these issues.

Also, with Heat UK and In Touch Weekly’s reputation for creating stories based on the accounts of its undependable and unidentified sources, this could be another groundless hearsay waiting to be quashed. So, avid followers of Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn should take these unverified claims until everything is proven true and correct.
