The high hopes of Eminem, 47, and Rihanna's, 32, fans came to its lowest point when the rapper shuts down the collaboration rumors started by their fans with pop superstar Rihanna. Per Meaww, "Eminem and Rihanna are not collaborating on a new song after all."

The American rapper's marketing company made the unlucky confirmation, Burn It Down Group, a firm that holds Shady Record marketing venture. The firm stated that the 'Love The Way You Lie' duo are not working together for a piece of new music.

The 'Venom' rapper backed Burn It Down's confirmation through posting an Instagram Story in his firm's official Instagram account. "Attention all STANS," he wrote, then he remembered his collaboration with Rihanna six years ago and his experience in the monster tour. He also thanked his fans for their undying support before saying the bad news, "I salute you, but there's nothing going on here #TrustUs."

In a follow-up message, Eminem promised that he would do a "better job" next time by giving out precise details so his fans will not be led "astray."

The avid fans of the rap icon were mesmerized with Eminem's polite message. One Twitter user said that the rapper has always been so kind and courteous to his fans by addressing an issue or even a rumor instead of remaining silent, leaving the case unresolved. Another fan blurted out that Eminem is a grateful idol to his fans and does a lot of stuff without the public's attention.

On the other hand, some fans expressed their dismay that an Eminem and Rihanna song is not happening. However, the fans assured Eminem that they would keep on waiting until it happens. One hesitant fan even said that Eminem is lying.

In an NME report, the fans began to speculate about the duo's collaboration when the marketing group of Eminem posted an Instagram story that exhibits Rihanna's eccentric "R" logo combined with Eminem's "E'.

Even though the allegations have been officially quashed, the duo previously joined forces on Rihanna's chart-topping 2010 track titled 'Love The Way You Lie, on 'Numb' from the pop star's 2012 'Unapologetic' album, and on 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2's 'The Monster' track.

Eminem and Rihanna also teamed up for 'The Monster Tour' in 2014. The said tour kicked off on August 2, 2014, in Pasadena, California, and concluded on August 23, 2014, in Detroit, Michigan. 'The Monster Tour' is considered North America's "highest-grossing tours" of 2014 with estimated earnings of $36 million.
