Lori Loughlin has been pleaded guilty in the college admissions scandal, which made headlines because of her celebrity status. While Loughlin is waiting for her sentence, she wanted to celebrate her birthday being extremely low-key.

The 56-year-old actress decided to spend time with her family on the occasion. According to a source, the actress has kept her priorities straight since the scandal became public. She wants to be with her husband and two daughters.

The actress believes that as long as she is with her husband, Mossimo Giannulli who is a fashion designer and her daughter Olivia Jade, 20 and Isabella, 21, everything is going to be fine. Due to her celebrity status, Loughlin became the face of the entire crisis, which took a toll on her career.

However, her family is extremely supportive including her daughters and husband. Loughlin was pleaded guilty during the lockdown in May for mail and wire fraud. Also, Honest services fraud for which they bribe of $500,000 to get admission in the University of Southern California. 

The Fuller House star wanted her daughters to be recruited as the team while none of her daughters had ever performed the sport. As per the plea deal, Loughlin will be released on supervision after completing two months in jail.

She will also help in community service for 100 hours and pay a fine of $150,000. On the other hand, Giannulli will be released on supervision for two years, after he spends five months in jail with a fine of $250,000. The community service has been increased for him to 250 hours. According to ET, Loughlin is not keeping well because of the sentence expected on Aug. 21.

“This has been a long road, and waiting for their sentencing has been painfully stressful. She is exhausted and is ready to get past this point. She's spending time with her family and trying her very best not to think about what lies ahead because she realizes at this point it’s out of her hands,” the source explained.

Currently, Loughlin is focused on her daughters at the moment and trying to have quality time before she is gone to prison. The family avoids all the negativity related to the fear of going behind the bars. Loughlin decided to plead guilty in a hope that she might be "house arrest" amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
