Meghan Markle, recently, dragged Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and five of her friends in her ongoing court battle against Daily Mail.

According to New Idea, the legal papers stated that Markle is a member of the royal family, and she doesn’t undertake paid work. But the Duchess of Sussex falsified those claims by mentioning Prince Harry’s cousins.

In the court documents, Markle reportedly used Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie as examples of royals who undertake paid work. She also said that this applies to Prince Michael of Kent.

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s two daughters are not senior working royals. As such, they are in no obligation to attend royal events or perform royal duties for Queen Elizabeth. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have jobs.

The court documents also revealed more information on five of Markle’s friends who allegedly spoke on her behalf during an interview with People last year.

Markle’s five friends may be asked to testify at a trial but Markle denied that she authorized them to speak on her behalf.

One of her pals is a longtime friend, while the other one is a former co-star, and the third one is a friend from Los Angeles. Markle’s two other friends are her close confidante and a one-time colleague.

With regards to Markle’s handwritten to her estranged dad, Thomas Markle Sr., the Duchess of Sussex said that she is entitled to a reasonable expectation of privacy. As such, she had no idea that her letters could be published.

Since all of these issues took place while Prince Harry’s wife was pregnant with Archie, Markle said that it caused her tremendous emotional distress. The Suits alum also said that the issues damaged her mental health.

The former Hollywood star also claimed that her friends felt silenced by Kensington Palace because they were unable to come to her defense. And since they never saw Markle in that state before, they were concerned for her welfare.

After all, Markle was pregnant and she was also unprotected by the institution and prohibited from defending herself.

Markle also mentioned her lavish royal wedding to Prince Harry in 2018, She said that the over $1 billion in tourism cash earned from the wedding far outweighed the contributions of the taxpayers towards security.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are being asked to return the taxpayers’ money that was used for the security team on their royal wedding and this could be Markle’s response.
