Meghan Markle recently made headlines this week amid claims that she put her 1-year-old son, Archie in a doghouse.

Globe published the dubious article with a misleading headline. And they also included a photo of Archie adorably sitting on Markle’s lap.

But upon closer inspection of the article, it reveals how Markle has allegedly named a deluxe dog room at North London’s Mayhew animal shelter after her and Prince Harry’s son.

The tabloid claimed that Markle is paying $12.60 a month to have the deluxe dog room built and maintained for the shelter dogs staying at Mayhew.

Archie’s name allegedly appears in the list of sponsors for Mayhew. And the 1-year-old also gets a certificate and a dog stuffed toy.

“As an expression of my own commitment, I renewed my sponsorship of a dog kennel in the name of our son, Archie, to create an interim home for a pet in need,” Markle said in a statement.

However, the tabloid’s headline seemingly suggests that the Duchess of Sussex literally put her son in the doghouse, which is such a cruel act. Therefore, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt because they are oftentimes incorrect and ambiguous.

Markle was named as the patron months before she announced her bombshell exit from the royal family. According to People, she still the patron of Mayhew even though she’s no longer considered as a working royal.

Prince Harry’s wife has a long history with animal rescue, which dates back to the time when she adopted her first dog, Bogart. Years later, she adopted her second dog, Guy.

Two years ago, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex adopted a Labrador after they tied the knot. A source said that Archie is best friends with his dogs.

“They make him laugh and are gentle with him,” the source said.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time that Globe published a dubious story about Markle and Prince Harry. Last month, the tabloid claimed that Duke of Sussex had a tragic meltdown, and he was also rushed to the psych ward.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been living their quiet lives in Los Angeles since March. And Prince Harry wasn’t rushed to the psych ward. He didn’t also suffer a tragic meltdown that caused Markle to worry too much.
