Many millennials are aware of Jenna Marbles who is considered one of the best YouTube creators. She started her YouTube channel back in 2010 and gained popularity in the past decade by creating videos and entertaining millions of fans and followers through her YouTube Channel.

Marbles went viral in 2010 with a video titled “How To Trick People Into Thinking You Are Good Looking” which received over 5.3 million views in one week alone. With the help of her YouTube Channel, she created an entire career in the entertainment business.

The 33-year-old YouTuber utilized the platform well and not only had 20.0 million subscribers on YouTube but also landed into a couple of feature films and co-hosted a podcast with her boyfriend. The platform helped her become multi-millionaire with a whopping $8 million of net worth.

However, it is worth noting that Marbles’ journey on YouTube wasn’t smooth enough due to her racist video on Nicki Minaj for which she later apologized. In 2011, she offended many fans by creating a video in which she tried to impersonate Nicki Minaj in blackface.

Moreover, in the same year, the creator made a video on Asian people which was racially offensive. Since then, she made those videos ‘private’, which no one can access or view. On June 25, Marble created a video to apologize for the aforementioned videos along with those videos that she made to slut-shame and joke about gender identity.

Marbles mentioned in her recent video that she holds herself accountable for making such offensive videos in the past and furthermore, she declared quitting YouTube for an unspecified period of time. She said that it is time for her to leave YouTube for some time as she doesn’t want to put content that is harmful to the world.

As expected, many fans of Marbles got devastated as she has been a part of their lives for almost a decade. Many fans argued that it was the cancel culture because of which the creator is leaving YouTube.

One of the supporters shared an opinion, “Something about this video is weird to me…I personally think she is just tired of being a Youtuber (judging how uninspired her recent content has been) and is using this as an excuse to quit.”

Another viewer said that after analyzing her for over a year, it seemed that she was over YouTue long ago and she has been copying ideas lately including the credit.
