Ellen Pompeo has been married to her husband Chris Ivery since 2013. And now rumors are circling that the two have decided to call it quits.

The Grey's Anatomy actress met her future husband at a grocery store. After six months of being friends, they started to date and then get married and now have three children together. But according to a tabloid, things have not been good between the two for a while now. Insiders are claiming that Chris is not very supportive of Ellen's career. It seems that he is uncomfortable with her success, being one of the highest-paid TV actresses at the present time.

But none of these are true, as reported by Gossip Cop.  The site says it insulting to both to claim these allegations as both are happy in their marriage. The rumors that Chris does not like it when Ellen has kissing scenes are also very untrue.

The couple's marriage is not on the rocks. In fact, they have just been photographed taking a hike recently. The Daily Mail reports that the two were hiking around Griffith Park. They were seen wearing masks as it is now required that in Los Angeles, everyone should be wearing masks if they plan to go out.

Meanwhile, aside from hiking with her husband, Ellen has also been taking part in the protests for the Black Lives Movement. She has posted on her social media on contents related to the movement.

She posted a video where she talks about her experience during a protest she attended. While she claims that the cops were not really aggressive during the protest, their very stance was aggressive, to begin with. She said that there cops on the rooftops, and there are even tanks when there are protests. She then asks why the same thing does not happen when there are pride marches and women's march.

Pompeo continues to star in Grey's Anatomy, which is one of the longest-running medical dramas in the history of television. They just finished their 16th season and have been renewed for two seasons more. And while many of the original actors have left the show and moved on to other endeavors, Pompeo continues to play her role of Dr. Meredith Grey, and she will continue to do so for the next two seasons.

The next season may be shown by next year. It is not known if there will be any delays considering that many productions have been halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
