Donald Trump is notorious for his harsh critiques, particularly when it comes to assigning nicknames to his political adversaries and their families, targeting everything from their appearance and weight to their personal values.

One of the former POTUS's most iconic nicknames is "Crooked Hillary," designated for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election campaign. He also called her "Heartless Hillary" and "Lyin' Hillary" while alleging her political career was riddled with dishonesty.

As previously reported, Trump has since "retired" that nickname, reassigning it to President Joe Biden.

"I’m going to give her a new name — I don’t know, like maybe ‘Lovely Hillary’ or ‘Beautiful Hillary’ — but I’m going to retire the name ‘Crooked’ so that we can use the name for Joe Biden, because he’ll be known from now on as 'Crooked Joe Biden,'" he said earlier this month.

In addition to "crooked," Trump has referred to Biden as "Sleepy," occasionally adding a twist with "SleepyCreepy Joe," as well as "crazy," "slow," and "Joe Hiden."

Vice President Kamala Harris has not escaped Trump's naming tendencies, having been called "Phony Kamala" and "Nasty Kamala" in the past.

Currently, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appears to be Trump's favorite target for nicknaming. DeSantis has been dubbed "Ron DeSanctimonious," "Ron DeSanctus," "Shutdown Ron" — referencing his COVID-19 pandemic decisions — and "Meatball Ron."

"Now that Ron DeSanctimonious is finally admitting he’s in the Race by beginning to fight back, and now that his Polls have crashed so he has no other choice," Trump said in a statement on Wednesday, March 22. "He is, for a Republican, an average governor, he got 1.2 million less Votes in Florida than me. Florida has been successful for many years, long before I put Ron there — It’s amazing what Ocean and Sunshine will do!"

Aside from direct political rivals, Trump assigned unofficial titles to Barack Obama, calling him "Cheatin' Obama," and to Steven Bannon, whom he named "Sloppy Steve."

The embattled businessman also referred to fired CNN anchor Don Lemon as "Sour Lemon," playing on his last name, and later disparaged him as the "dumbest man on television."
