Gwyneth Paltrow and Dr. Terry Sanderson, the retired optometrist who sued her, encountered each other again as their ski crash trial came to a close on Thursday.

Upon leaving the Utah courtroom with a victory and $1 to her name, Paltrow touched Sanderson's shoulder and reportedly whispered, "I wish you well," as captured in video footage obtained by The Post.

Sanderson seemed to respond with, "Thank you, dear," displaying little emotion.

The 50-year-old actress smiled and waved to photographers outside the court, wrapping up an intense eight-day trial that attracted global attention for everything from Paltrow's Jeffrey Dahmer-style glasses to her unusual statements.

After approximately two-and-a-half hours of deliberation, the jury found Sanderson, 76, responsible for the 2016 ski slope collision, not the Goop founder.

"We're pleased with the outcome and appreciate the judge and jury's consideration," said Paltrow's attorney, Steven Owens, in a statement outside the courtroom.

"Gwyneth has a history of standing up for what's right, and this situation is no different. She will continue to stand up for what's right."

Paltrow's representatives also released a statement on her behalf.

"I felt that acquiescing to a false claim compromised my integrity," Paltrow said. "I am pleased with the outcome and I appreciate all of the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury, and thank them for their thoughtfulness in handling this case."

The Post reached out to Sanderson's representatives for comment.

Sanderson sued Paltrow in 2019 for $3.1 million, alleging the Deer Valley ski resort collision left him with brain impairment and damaged his relationships with others.

After a judge dismissed his initial complaint, Sanderson refiled for $300,000.

Paltrow countersued for only $1—plus her probable six-figure legal fees—which the jury awarded her, agreeing that Sanderson was at fault for the crash.

Paltrow maintained her composure on Thursday as Judge Kent Holmberg announced the verdict, though a small smile emerged.

The trial's live stream was viewed by hundreds of thousands of people, while even more followed footage shared on social media.

In one widely-criticized clip, Sanderson's lawyers questioned Paltrow about the crash's impact on her.

"Well, I lost half a day of skiing," she responded coldly.

On Wednesday, Sanderson made an odd comparison between Paltrow and the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, which the judge instructed the jury to disregard.
