King Charles allegedly decided not to push through with his coronation on May 6 because the pressure has gotten to him.

In its Feb. 20 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that King Charles has so many things on his plate that he could no longer keep up.

“The pressure is getting to Charles. He wants the coronation to be perfect, but so far, with everyone going on in the family, it’s far from it. Knowing Charles, he’d rather not do the coronation at all if it’s not to his exacting standards,” the source said.

The source also claimed that King Charles has also been passing on his stress to his staff members. Last week, he allegedly called a meeting that lasted for five hours because he had countless demands that he wanted everyone to meet.

“It dragged on for five hours or more. Word is, the king was not a happy chappy,” the source said.

And then there are still ongoing issues with regard to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s attendance. According to royal expert Robert Jobson, the Duke, and Duchess of Sussex wouldn’t be invited to King Charles’ coronation.

“They don’t want to give Harry any more chances to make those baseless accusations,” the source said.

And then there’s an ongoing backlash regarding the Australian note being replaced with his face.

“Charles is not taking the suggestion of replacing the monarch on the Australian $5 note very well, nor the fact that his head on the new 50 pence coin comes sans crown, unlike his mom’s version. He’s starting to panic that they’re going about this coronation all wrong and that he may well end up less popular than ever,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that King Charles wants his coronation to be canceled. And it’s not also true that the pressure has gotten the best of him.

Since he has been waiting for the day that he would be crowned king, it’s unlikely for King Charles to want to cancel the momentous ceremony.
