Prince William allegedly thinks that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should be stripped of their titles now that they are gearing up to star in a reality TV show for Netflix.

In its Feb. 13 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Netflix is courting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to star in a Kardashians-like reality TV show. And it’s only a matter of time before Prince Harry and Markle say yes.

But doing so means that they could never return to the royal fold and Prince William will allegedly make sure of it.

“William believes the only right move at this point is to strip the Sussexes of their duke and duchess titles then turn the whole matter over to the lawyers and be formally done with them,” the source said.

The insider claimed that Netflix is dying to profit off of Prince Harry and Markle’s popularity that’s why they are convincing the couple to open their Montecito home for their fans.

“Netflix brass feel a reality show would be a rating bonanza and Harry and Meghan owe them big-time. They held a lot back in their documentary, and the suits at Netflix didn’t realize how much until they read excerpts from Harry’s book. They’d like to see the couple open up their home, their lives, and their hearts to the cameras,” the source said.

Of course, Prince Harry and Markle cannot allegedly say no to Netflix because of the streaming platform’s lucrative offer. But starring in their own reality TV show means they will forever be banned from Prince William’s life.

“William isn’t going to let this go. He feels betrayed and doesn’t think Harry’s behavior is worthy of a duke,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Prince Harry and Markle are starring in a Kardashians-like reality TV show. And even if they are, Prince William and the royal family could not stop them because they no longer work for The Firm.

In this regard, the Prince of Wales doesn’t have any authority to strip Prince Harry and Markle of their titles right now because he’s not the monarch. This decision can only be made by King Charles, and it’s not something that he plans on doing anytime soon.
