Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have already started making plans for Christmas, and they want the occasion to be as smooth-sailing as possible.

A source told Closer UK that Lopez and Affleck decided to invite their exes over so that they could all spend time with their children.

“This is a big Christmas for Ben and Jennifer. It’s their first as a married couple, so they want to make it really special and for it to be one to remember. They’ll be doing something with all the kids and family, and they’re determined to make it as smooth sailing as possible with the exes,” the source said.

On Christmas Day, Affleck and Lopez will allegedly stay in their home in Los Angeles with all their kids.

“They want to spend as much time with their kids as possible and have a blended family celebration at her place in Bel-Air. It’s all being figured out but the plan is for Ben’s three kids to come over on the big day, mingle with Max and Emme, and open their gifts than all sit down for lunch,” the source said.

But the big question allegedly is whether Jennifer Garner would come along. Lopez and Affleck already invited her to celebrate Christmas with the family, but she hasn’t allegedly confirmed her attendance.

“The good news is that everyone’s getting along very well. The awkwardness that existed between Jennifer and Jen has been put to one side and it’s all extremely cordial. They’re never going to be best friends, but both are pleased they’ve found a way to share common ground. And it’s good for the kids, of course,” the source said.

But while it is true that Garner and Lopez get along well with each other, no one knows for sure if the latter already invited the former for the holidays.

Of course, it is common knowledge that Affleck and Garner both want to spend time with their children over the holidays. So, they will most definitely work something out.

As of late, Affleck and Lopez have not also shared their holiday plans. So, there’s no way for a tabloid to know all these details. It seems that they are just speculating on what the newlyweds would do during the Christmas season.

What’s guaranteed is that the couple and their blended family will have a blast.
