Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were, reportedly, scheduled to return to the United Kingdom last week.

However, the royal couple was forced to cancel their plans at the last minute.

According to New Idea, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were supposed to travel to back to Prince Harry’s hometown to attend Princess Beatrice’s wedding.

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s eldest daughter was set to tie the knot with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on May 29. However, the royal couple decided to cancel their nuptials due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Since Princess Beatrice and Mozzi’s wedding did not push through, Prince Harry and Markle didn’t have to fly back to the United Kingdom.

As of late, the Sussexes are quarantining at their home in Los Angeles with their 1-year-old son, Archie.

Prince Harry and Markle have been staying in Los Angeles since March. The couple decided to relocate to LA prior to Donald Trump’s announcement that the border between the United States and Canada would be shut down.

Today, there is still no word when Prince Harry and Markle would return to the United Kingdom. But there are rumors suggesting that the Duke of Sussex is worried about not being with his family if and when Queen Elizabeth dies.

While speaking with OK! magazine, broadcaster, and psychotherapist Lucy Beresford said that Prince Harry and Markle’s marriage could also be in danger once a member of the royal family passes away.

Beresford said that when the unfortunate event takes place, Prince Harry would feel the need to be with his relatives. However, Markle might not allow him to go back home because she doesn’t have a good relationship with the royal family.

The expert also said that Prince Harry and Markle would have to reevaluate their marriage. And they should also remember that relationships are all about compromise.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle also made headlines this week after Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan criticized them again.

While speaking with The Sun’s TV magazine, Morgan said that he no longer cares about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. After all, Prince Harry and Markle seem utterly irrelevant and desperate.

Morgan also accused the Sussexes of filing lawsuits on a whim and whining about the media. At the end of the day, the British host said that no one cares about Prince Harry and Markle.

Earlier this year, Morgan said that the couple’s decision to leave the United Kingdom won’t stop him from criticizing them.
