Meghan Markle allegedly hopes that more people will sympathize with her after Prince William’s godmother was accused of racism.

Heat UK, in its Dec. 12 issue, claimed that Markle feels fully vindicated after the public questioned her allegations of racism during her interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Last year, the Duchess of Sussex said that there was one member of the royal family who had questions about her unborn son’s skin color.

“Meghan feels she has been fully vindicated with all of this coming out and hopes people now understand and sympathize with what she went through. She has been criticized so much for the lies she told, but she has stood by what she said in the Oprah interview and is glad some people who work within royal circles are being exposed for who they really are,” the source said.

The insider added that Prince Harry is also thrilled that someone backed his wife’s racism allegations.

Meanwhile, the source also claimed that Prince William and Kate Middleton were horrified by the racist claims that’s why they immediately released a statement on the matter.

“They are horrified by what happened and were quick to put out a statement condemning Lady Hussey’s actions. They both know that changes are needed and the royal family needs to be more modern – and that’s what they’re working towards. The incident had nothing to do with them, but as the future king and queen, they have to take the brunt of it,” the source said.

Prior to their trip to the United States, the Prince and Princess of Wales already knew that some Americans disliked them because they favor the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. But they didn’t allegedly expect to be booed by the crowd.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Markle felt vindicated after someone else accused a member of The Firm of being racist.

Prince Harry and Markle did not release a statement regarding the complaint so no one knows for sure where their heads are at.

For now, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are busy awaiting the release of their docuseries for Netflix. As of late, two teasers have already been released by the streaming giant.

Harry & Meghan will be available on the platform on Dec. 8 and Dec. 15.
