Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wouldn’t allegedly receive an invitation to attend the royal family’s Christmas celebrations next month.

A source told Heat UK that Prince Harry and Markle have been frozen out from the festivities because of the former’s upcoming memoir, as well as the couple’s Netflix docuseries.

“Harry won’t be sending the family any advance copies of the book. He’s not in a position to, anyway, since the publishers want it kept under wraps – but it’s already very obvious to all parties that Charles, Camilla, William, and many others of The Firm are going to find huge chunks of its contents highly offensive,” the source said.

The source added that the back-to-back projects of Prince Harry and Markle seem a bit too much for the royal family.

“So, the palace has gently suggested that this year, Harry and Meghan stay and enjoy their tofu turkey in Montecito, 6,000 miles away. Harry and Meghan will try to dress it up as their decision, but this is a huge snub. The bottom line is that they’ve both been banned from Christmas,” the source said.

However, the source also said that not everyone within the royal family has frozen Prince Harry and Markle out. After all, they remain close to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. So, the Sussexes can at least expect to get Christmas cards from the York sisters.

At the end of the day, Prince Harry and Markle have come to terms with the fact that Christmas is not the best time for them to return to the UK. After all, a lot of people and royals are still upset with the couple.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that the royal family refused to invite the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to celebrate Christmas with everyone.

It is important to note that this would be the royal family’s first Christmas without Queen Elizabeth so it might be best if they show unity in the face of sadness.

However, it might also be difficult for Prince Harry and Markle to celebrate Christmas overseas because the latter’s mom is in the United States.

For now, it would be best to just wait for updates from the royal family regarding Christmas.
