Prince William and Kate Middleton aren’t allegedly impressed with Meghan Markle’s decision to bring up an old story that she tried hard to bury for years.

According to Us Weekly, the Prince and Princess of Wales couldn’t help but wonder what Markle’s motivations were when she criticized Deal or No Deal.

“They are baffled as to why Meghan would bring up an old story that she worked so hard to bury,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Markle wanted to make sure that her photos from Deal or No Deal wouldn’t be published after she married Prince Harry. So, this seemed like an indication that she didn’t want to be associated with the show any longer.

But the fact that she talked about it on her podcast Archetypes resulted in listeners digging up her old photos and videos from the now-defunct game show.

“So, it is mind-boggling as to why she would even speak about it,” the source said.

However, the source also claimed that Markle couldn’t understand where the backlash is coming from and it was extremely disappointing to her.

“But she knows that there are critics who will go to great lengths to call her out in any way possible,” the source said.

Days after Markle claimed that being in Deal or No Deal objectified her into being a bimbo, former host Howie Mandel seemingly came to her defense.

The comedian admitted that he has never heard anyone from the show complain. But he also stressed that Markle was simply sharing a story and it wasn’t her intention to complain or criticize Deal or No Deal.

“I think Meghan just said she wanted to do more. It wasn’t fulfilling for her. So, I don’t know why there is a big hoopla, except I have to say that me standing there with 26 women staring at me made me feel like a bimbo,” Mandel jokingly told Us Weekly (via Page Six).

A former costume designer and a former briefcase girl just like Markle slammed her for her comments. They said that they never felt like they were objectified or treated like a bimbo on the show.

The costume designer also stressed that everyone in Deal or No Deal was treated with respect. And the game show also opened more opportunities for everyone thereafter.
