Cameron Diaz is making a comeback on the big screen. But the actress’s decision to take part in Jamie Foxx’s project may not be the best decision for her.

A source told National Enquirer that there are fears Foxx’s star-studded project will be a huge flop. And the fact that Diaz is part of it could jeopardize her career as an actress.

“Jamie can coax people to say yes to things and getting Cameron back in the game is one of his biggest coups. Even though people bend over backward to make Jamie happy, there’s a lot at risk for Cameron – especially because of Jamie’s mixed track record on passion projects,” the source said.

The insider added that Foxx has the tendency of hitting it out of the park and sometimes the whole thing seems cursed.

However, the source also insisted that Foxx did not force Diaz to star in his upcoming movie.

“Cameron knows what she’s getting into. She’s very smart and about coming out of a project looking good even if the rest is a mess,” the source said.

Last week, the same tabloid claimed that Foxx is upset with his co-stars because they refuse to promote their movie.

“This has been Jamie’s passion project for five years now, and he called in every favor in the book to get his friends to take significant roles at reduced rates. But the film executives say it’s not very good and will be tough to place on streaming – let alone somehow get it into theaters,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Diaz’s return to the big screen will be a flop because she chose to star in Foxx’s movie.

It’s not also true that Foxx is upset with his co-stars because they do not want to promote their film. When the time is right, everyone will most definitely promote the movie that they have been working on.

All these claims were made to depict Foxx in a negative light. But the fact that they have not been proven to be accurate proves that the tabloid shouldn’t be believed for their allegations.

As of writing, everything seems to be well with Diaz, Foxx, and the other actors who are part of their project.
