Kim Kardashian is thanking everyone who made her smile on her 42nd birthday.

The 42-year-old reality star took her thoughts to Instagram and expressed her appreciation for all the birthday wishes she received on her birthday. She included a photo of herself wearing a pink tank top and a snack in her hand.

The Daily Mail, in its report covering the social media post, quoted Kardashian from her caption, writing, “Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. This weekend I had an overwhelmingly beautiful amount of love from so many people reaching out and it really made me smile so much.”

It continues, “The flowers, the dinner, the almost Vegas trip all was so so special and I will remember this birthday forever.”

The post, which the SKIMS founder published on Sunday, has now amassed over 1.5 million likes. It has also received more than 6,500 comments, with netizens continuing to greet her with a “happy birthday.”

Kim Kardashian’s Instagram update comes after she celebrated her birthday with some of her closest friends and family members.

Over the weekend, the “Kardashians” star shared what was happening at the bash with her fans and followers on the same platform. She also revealed in her Stories that they had to cancel their plans due to the weather conditions, according to People.

The magazine said that the SKIMS founder and her company during the celebration had plans to dine at Carbone. Seeing Usher in his Las Vegas residency was also said to be a part of it.

Reportedly, Kim Kardashian explained in one of her stories that they could not land due to the wind. Accordingly, their plans did not happen, and they decided to head back home to Los Angeles.

People continued that the reality star and her crew, including Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, instead dined at an In-N-Out Burger restaurant upon return. She is said to have documented the visit to the fast food chain, adding that she also gave her followers an inside look at their impromptu outing.

Meanwhile, Usher appeared to have heard what had happened, causing him to share a special message for Kim Kardashian.

Later on Sunday, the “Love In This Club” artist took his heartfelt greeting and message to Instagram. He posted a video with text that read, “HBD,” and tagged the reality star in it.

Entertainment Tonight, in its report published Sunday, quoted the R&B singer from the video, saying, "Happy birthday Kim! I saw the post, I hate that you didn't make it to the show last night. But listen, open arms to you, whenever you want to come.”

It continues, "I know you're still celebrating your birthday. And you can celebrate it at the next show if you come then, or whenever! We got three more shows."
