Chrissy Teigen recently opened up about her growing family.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the 36-year-old model talked about how her two “nurturing” children feel about the pregnancy. She and John Legend announced that they are expecting earlier in August.

Teigen described her eldest child as “nurturing and loving.” She noted that her daughter, who is now six years old, is “just very, very exciting.”

On the other hand, the “Cravings” author stated that her son is “a little more on the fence.” She explained that her eldest child “is always going to be the big girl,” but it won’t be the same for her 4-year-old child as he is “not going to be the baby anymore” once their new little one arrives.

Chrissy Teigen continued that she and John Legend “spend a lot more time” with their son. She said they tell him that “he’s always going to be [their] baby boy.”

The model later added that her children are “really good” as they help care for their friends’ kids. She also emphasized that she is “proud” of them as “they are really nurturing.”

ET shared that the exchange with Teigen occurred on Wednesday. At the time, she is said to have partnered with the kids’ digital reading platform, Epic, in honor of National Parents Day Off.

To mark the day, the model surprised parents and caregivers with what the outlet said to be a “much-needed break.”

The publication consequently quoted Chrissy Teigen speaking about the event, asserting, “I saw the breakdown in the schedule, and I was like, ‘This looks really fun for them.’”

It continues, “I think it, as all these parents know, it’s really nice to be able to see them enjoy their time but still be able to take your peace in, too. We’re all better parents when we’re taking care of ourselves and, everybody’s so happy.”

Wednesday also marked the celebrity couple’s ninth wedding anniversary.

In celebration of the relationship milestone, John Legend dropped the “romantic” music video for his new single, “Wonder Woman.” It features Chrissy Teigen and their two children.

People shared that the release is not only to celebrate the couple’s anniversary but also to mark the “overall strength of women."

Elsewhere in the exchange with ET, the model revealed that Legend is “such a date night guy,” adding that she had purchased a luxe robe for the singer. She noted that they are “very into lounge wear” and get “fancy robes for each other.”

It seemingly came before the “All Of Me” singer reportedly surprised her with a lavish backyard dinner and an outdoor flat screen TV, playing episodes of “Real Housewives,” in celebration of their wedding anniversary.
