More than two decades have passed since the British Royal Family lost Princess Diana. But, if she was alive, royal experts reportedly believe that the feud between her sons, Prince Harry and Prince William, would not have happened.

Express UK said that the assertions about the matter recently surfaced following a chat among commentators on GB News "Weekend Breakfast." Hosts Stephen Dixon and Anne Diamond talked to BBC’s former royal correspondent Jennie Bond, who claimed that the Princess of Wales would have “just sorted” her sons and their disagreements.

Bond reportedly stated that the Duke of Sussex and the Duke of Cambridge’s mother “would have sorted them out somehow.” She is said to have noted that the late royal would have even likely “avoided the whole problem” involving the two royal-born Princes, adding that the feud would not have happened “or [at least] got so bad.”

Jennie Bond reportedly asserted that she also believes Princess Diana would be “distraught” over the situation. But while she would have felt it, the expert is said to have claimed that the late royal would have got Prince Harry and Prince William together.

Elsewhere in the exchange, the former royal correspondent to BBC claimed the Duke of Sussex is “the Spencer” of the siblings, according to OK! magazine. As reported, she described him as “fiery,” “vulnerable,” and “fragile,” noting that the Princess of Wales was “very much” this way.

The outlet later quoted Bond, reportedly explaining, “[Prince Harry] is complex like [Princess] Diana was. Likable. Loveable. It is difficult. He’s forging his own way much like his mother did. He is the troubled one of the two.”

This is not the first time such claims were made about Princess Diana and her two sons. The late royal’s former protection officer also had similar assertions, which he shared two years ago.

Speaking to Vanity Fair in 2020, Ken Wharfe shared that the Princess of Wales could have changed how the Duke of Sussex and the Duke of Cambridge communicate today. He explained that the late royal “had tremendous influence over [the two royal-born Princes,” adding that the siblings would not have likely “fallen out like this had Diana been around.”

The former bodyguard continued that Prince Harry and Prince William’s mother “would not have allowed [the feud] to escalate as “she would have quickly instigated a resolution.”

Wharfe also believed that Princess Diana “would be very upset” if she could see her two sons “at war.” He added that the late royal “always loved the fact the boys were so close."
