Ozzy Osbourne is allegedly at risk of being permanently crippled.

In its June 13 issue, Globe claimed Osbourne should slow down and focus more on his health. Otherwise, he may no longer be able to walk again.

“He’s in a terrible shape, and pounding out recordings may not be such a good idea. The last thing Ozzy needs is to overexert himself and wind up in a wheelchair for the remainder of his life. He’s clearly fading,” the source said.

The source claimed that Osbourne wants to record more music for his fans. However, his health issues are preventing him from doing so. The musician reportedly has Parkinson’s Disease, and he also suffered a bad fall three years ago.

“He’s in excruciating pain and every day brings some kind of misery. Ozzy has said he needs another neck surgery. His nerves are out of whack. He does physical therapy every day. But the people around him really do feel he needs more rest,” the source said.

To make their claims more convincing, the tabloid spoke with their resident doctor, Dr. Gabe Mirkin, who has never treated or met Osbourne. After looking at the musician’s photo with a cane in his hand, Mirkin said that he could be suffering from osteoporosis.

“He’s probably better off recording than not working. Inactivity will exacerbate his health problems as exercise is part of the treatment for Parkinson’s disease, nerve damage, and emotional pressures,” he said.

In the snap, Osbourne’s back is bent forward. But it is possible that the singer is adjusting to the height of his cane. After all, another photo showed him with his back still looking very straight.

And now that Osbourne is 73 years old, it’s not surprising if he has some health problems. But there’s no proof that he’s at risk of being permanently crippled just because he has been using a walking stick.

By the looks of it, the tabloid is just exaggerating Osbourne’s health issues. And the fact that they didn’t speak with him to get firsthand information or update makes their claims questionable.

Osbourne is doing well health-wise and if he’s having problems with the way he walks or moves, he would be the one to share the news with his fans. As of late, he’s still able to record and release new music for his supporters.
