Prince Charles and Prince William will be “very strong in saying” Prince Andrew will not be at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Express UK reported that the assertions came from Angela Levin, who recently spoke with GB News about the matter. She believes that the two royal-born Princes are set to exclude the Duke of York in the upcoming royal engagements.

The royal expert explained that the Service of Thanksgiving, where the Queen’s second son had a front and center role, was “full of emotion” and “sadness.” But, the Platinum Jubilee is different because it is a “fun” celebration.

Levin, then, noted that it would be the time for the Duke of Cambridge and Prince of Wales to “put [their] foot down” and say to Queen Elizabeth II, “this is just not on.”

The expert’s statements came after Prince Andrew’s surprising role at the Service of Thanksgiving for the late Prince of Philip earlier this week. The publication said that he “played a prominent and symbolic” part beside the British Monarch at Westminster Abbey.

The Duke of York was “front and center” at the event, even escorting the Queen during the memorial service. He, also, had a front-row seat, beside Prince Charles with Prince William at the back.

The move has since sparked talks and discussion among experts and analysts, as well as the public. But, they all appear to be negative, with some reports allegedly calling it a “PR disaster.”

A former BBC royal correspondent shared some thoughts about the matter. As reported, what took place at the event with Prince Andrew “did not happen by chance.”

Peter Hunt asserted that the Duke of York carrying out his role at the special memorial service was a “sign” that Queen Elizabeth II was “endorsing” her second son. He noted that the former working royal could have chosen a different seat, possibly beside his daughters or other relatives at the back.

But, he was in the front row, thus appearing to be a choice from the British Monarch “to remind people that [Prince Andrew] has not admitted any wrongdoing,” and “not guilty of anything."

Hunt is, also, said to have raised questions as to what Prince William and Prince Charles’ stances are on the matter. He wondered whether the direct heirs of the Queen were supportive of the Duke of York having his role at the event.

Sources claimed, though, that Prince William and Prince Charles have “protested” against it. They “reluctantly accepted” it, adding that Queen Elizabeth II “has the final say in such matters,” according to a separate report from Express UK.
