Lili Reinhart reminded everyone that their body is “ready for summer no matter what it looks like.” She, also, deemed the so-called “summer body trends” these days as “toxic.”

E! News said that the 25-year-old actress took the time to post a heartfelt message on Twitter. She noted that, apart from reminding her audience, she is reminding herself, as well.

On Tuesday, Reinhart stated that it is not necessary to have a “flat or perfectly toned stomach to wear a crop top.” She ended her post by saying, “don’t let it stop you from enjoying anything.”

The publication, later on, shared that many netizens thanked her for posting the message before the public. They are said to have given the “Riverdale” star some “words of appreciation” on the same platform.

One Twitter user reportedly claimed that Lili Reinhart had no idea how much they needed to hear this kind of reminder. Another individual, also, shared that the actress has helped “so many people right now” by posting her message.

Over the years, the “Hustlers” star has continued to vocalize her thoughts and sentiments about self-love and body positivity. The most recent one she did prior to the social media post was her lengthy Instagram Story updates earlier in January.

People said that Lili Reinhart got “vulnerable” about her body image and mental health in the series of posts. She, herself, noted in her Stories that she wanted to be “vulnerable and share” her inner battle.

She revealed that she had been “struggling with obsessive thoughts” about her body and weight, adding that it had “gotten pretty severe in the last week.” She stated that she hopes her revelation would help others, who are in the same situation, not to feel alone in this struggle.

The 25-year-old celebrity continued that she is with them in this fight and acknowledged that it is “challenging to look at your body with love instead of criticism.” She consequently pointed out that “it is a practice” before confessing that she is “still learning.”

Reinhart ended her posts by urging her fans and followers to “continue to talk” about the issue. She encouraged them to “normalize it. Empathize with others. Show compassion and kindness.”

Back in 2018, Lili Reinhart shared a "powerful” message, as well, about body image, according to BBC. She said that one can be “naturally beautiful with acne or scars, cellulite or curves.”

The then-22-year-old celebrity, also, urged her audience to “celebrate each other, and ourselves, as we are.” In the end, she reminded everyone that “we are all imperfectly beautiful.”
