Jennifer Garner and Ana de Armas have, allegedly, bonded over Ben Affleck’s previous struggles with addiction.
According to Life & Style, Garner and de Armas talk regularly about Affleck’s addiction and how they can help him. The Batman v Superman has been sober for a year.
Last year, Affleck had a slip up after getting sober for years. But on his social media account, the dad of three said that he won’t let his slip up define him. And he’s been true to his word.
A source told the tabloid that Garner and de Armas have been very helpful with Affleck’s sobriety.
The 13 Going On 30 star was the one that staged an intervention for Affleck in 2018. And Garner also, allegedly, threatened to not let Affleck see their kids if he won’t stay sober.
According to the source, the tough love definitely worked on Affleck because he’s been sober for a year. And he also has a wonderful relationship with his kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
As for de Armas, the Cuban actress has, reportedly, been a good influence on Affleck. De Armas and Affleck, reportedly, have a happy and healthy relationship, which has been great for the latter.
But even though Affleck is in a good place right now when it comes to his sobriety, the actor still knows that addiction is a lifelong battle. As such, Garner and de Armas just plan to stay by Affleck’s side to avoid another slip-up.
Meanwhile, there has been a slew of other rumors surrounding Affleck’s girlfriend and ex-wife. Earlier this year, Woman’s Day claimed that Affleck got both A-listers pregnant.
A source claimed that Affleck was stressing over what he would do after learning that de Armas and Garner are both expecting his child.
The insider claimed that the actor is smitten with de Armas. And Affleck has also, allegedly, been telling his friends that he can’t wait to have a baby with his girlfriend.
However, there’s, allegedly, no denying the fact that Garner will always have Affleck’s heart.
In April, OK! magazine also claimed that Garner was heartbroken after learning that Affleck and de Armas will tie the knot.
A source told the tabloid that Garner was shocked to hear the news, and she also broke down in tears after confessing that she regrets divorcing Affleck.
And when Affleck found out about Garner’s reaction, he, allegedly, started having second thoughts about marrying de Armas.
However, none of these claims are true. Affleck and Garner are just friends. And the former doesn’t have any plans to wed de Armas just yet.
