The reality show romance between Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood continues to crumble as new developments make their way onto the media. Court papers confirm that Randolph has successfully managed to extend a restraining order against Underwood.

E! Online reports that the LA County Superior Court has extended the effectivity of Randolph’s temporary restraining order against Underwood up to Nov. 6, which is the date for the next hearing on Randolph’s abuse and stalking allegations against Underwood.

The temporary restraining order was first granted to Randolph back on Sept. 14, where Underwood was instructed to stay more than 100 yards away from Randolph. The order also prohibits Underwood from contacting Randolph in any way.

As recounted by Cosmopolitan, the restraining order is the result of Underwood, allegedly, stalking, harassing, and placing a tracking device on Randolph’s car. Underwood also, reportedly, appeared uninvited at the property of Randolph’s parents in Huntington Beach, California.

The publication also notes that the restraining order extension comes after Randolph went to the LA County Sheriff’s Department to file a police report against Underwood. Quoting lawyer Bryan Freedman, Cosmopolitan says Randolph had initially wanted to settle thing privately between her and Underwood.

The crumbling relationship between Randolph and Underwood is just the latest high-profile celebrity break-up to grab the headlines. Before this Randolph-Underwood drama, the media reported on the divorce filing made by musician Ray J.

Ray J filing divorce papers comes a couple of months after his wife, reality star Princess Love, withdrew the divorce filing she made back in May of this year. The multiple divorce filings come after several months of trouble in the couple’s relationship, involving Love claiming Ray J left her alone in Las Vegas.

Earlier in the year, comedian Tracy Morgan also ended his five-year marriage to Megan Wollover. The couple married in 2015 after Morgan recovered from a car accident. They have a daughter named Maven Sonae who is seven years old.

Past relationship troubles between Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith were also revealed this year, after singer August Alsina admitted to a relationship to Pinkett Smith during a rough patch in the Smith’s marriage.

Probably the separation more contentious than Randolph and Underwood’s is the one between actors Amber Heard and Johnny Depp. The couple are currently embroiled in libel lawsuits in both the United Kingdom and the United States.

Heard has labeled the UK libel cases as “incredibly painful,” noting that it has resulted in intimate details of her relationship with Depp being shared with the public. Heard and Depp separated in 2017, with Heard receiving a $7 million settlement.
