Rich Paul and Adele are allegedly engaged. In its August 24 issue, Star claimed that Paul popped the question during their trip to Santa Monica on August 1.
Shortly after, Adele was photographed with a huge ring on her finger. And the tabloid assumed that it was the engagement ring that Paul gave her.
A source also claimed that Adele and Paul have known each other for quite some time. So, they didn’t rush their engagement.
However, it was only recently that the two were photographed in public that’s why everyone assumed that they just met.
“They’ve actually been dating a lot longer than most people realize but managed to keep it low-key. Adele wanted to wait until she was absolutely sure about their future before she stepped out with Rich,” the source said.
The insider also claimed that Adele didn’t have second thoughts about saying yes to Paul since her divorce battle with Simon Konecki is finally over.
“She was heartbroken when their marriage ended. It took a while for her to want to date again, let alone dare to think she’d ever tie the knot again. But Rich has swept Adele off her feet. This is, without a doubt, the happiest she’s been in longer than anyone can remember,” the source said.
Throughout the past couple of weeks, all sorts of rumors have been surrounding Paul and Adele.
It all started after the two were photographed at a Phoenix game together.
However, there is still no proof that Adele and Paul are dating. And during their previous outing, it seemed as though they were just introduced to each other.
So, to say that the A-listers are already engaged is a little over-the-top.
But it is true that Adele and Konecki finalized their divorce in March after three years of marriage.
The exes’ divorce was first announced in 2019. And in a statement, they said that they are committed to raising their son together.
Today, Konecki and Adele share joint custody of their 7-year-old son, Angelo Adkins.
During a previous interview with Time, Adele said that she’s raising her son to be as grounded as possible.
The award-winning singer also said that she’s so proud of the person that Angelo is becoming. And Adele added that she can’t wait to see what’s in store for the young boy.
