Ellen DeGeneres is allegedly gearing for a tell-all with Oprah Winfrey.

In its May 31 issue, New Idea claimed that after the tell-all, DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi will relocate to Australia. And the couple will stay in Australia for good.

A source claimed that DeGeneres is now in contact with Winfrey for their upcoming tell-all. And due to the success of Winfrey’s interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, DeGeneres is convinced that she’s also the one who should interview her.

“It seems like there’s still so much to unpack there,” the source said.

DeGeneres and Winfrey briefly spoke on air after the former announced that she will quit Ellen Show next year.

Following the tell-all, DeGeneres will allegedly relocate to Australia so that she could focus on her marriage that’s been falling apart for years.

The source claimed that de Rossi has been begging DeGeneres to focus on their relationship for years, but she has always prioritized her work. But now that she’s quitting Ellen Show, DeGeneres will have more time for her wife.

“It’s no secret Ellen and Portia have gone through hell and they almost split a couple of times during lockdown. But they’re both beginning to realize that a fresh new start in Australia could be exactly what they need,” the source said.

The source added that DeGeneres and de Rossi are also looking to buy a house in Australia. And since the comedian prefers the warmer weather, it’s highly likely for them to invest in a property on Byron Bay.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. DeGeneres isn’t gearing to sit down for a tell-all with Winfrey. While it is true that the latter showed her support for DeGeneres after she announced that she’s quitting, the two haven’t confirmed an interview between them.

It is also untrue that DeGeneres and de Rossi will be relocating to Australia. And they don’t also have any plans to buy a house there.

DeGeneres and de Rossi’s entire lives are in the United States so it’s unlikely for them to ever relocate to Australia or any other country for that matter.

The tabloid’s claims that DeGeneres and de Rossi are working on their marriage aren’t true either. The happy couple isn’t dealing with a divorce or separation.

DeGeneres and de Rossi have been married for over a decade. And all the claims that they are on the brink of splitting up are all false.
