Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s public displays of affection are allegedly making her family and friends gag.
In its May 10 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Kardashian is secretly competing with her sisters by showing the world that she’s the fun sibling even though she’s the oldest of them all.
The past recent weeks have seen Kardashian sharing photos of herself canoodling with kissing Barker. Another snap shows her sucking Barker’s finger. The couple also shared several snaps from their recent outings.
Unfortunately, not everyone is having a blast seeing all the touchy-feely photos of the happy couple.
“People in her circle feel it’s beneath her to advertise her personal moments like this. Even her family thinks it’s unflattering, but she’s getting a kick out of showing off her wild side,” the source said.
But during her previous relationship, Kardashian wasn’t always this public and open about her boyfriends. In fact, she rarely posted her PDAs with her baby daddy, Scott Disick.
So, the reality TV star’s friends and family can’t allegedly help but blame Barker, who might be the one who’s encouraging Kardashian to go all-out with their photos.
“Kourtney was always more low-key, but now she thinks she needs to be outrageous to keep up. Her friends and family say it’s not who she is, and she should put a lid on the stream,” the source said.
Kardashian and Barker just started dating a few months ago, but some tabloids are already speculating on the possibility that they will tie the knot soon.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the couple has talked about the possibility of having an engagement. And while it may come as a surprise for the Kardashian-Disick shippers, a source said that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star hasn’t felt this strongly for anyone in a while.
The source also pointed out that Kardashian and Barker have known each other for quite some time. So, they have plenty of memories together. However, it is only recently that they decided to take their friendship to the next level.
According to the source, Kardashian’s family and friends are supportive of the idea that the mom of three could soon get engaged because they haven’t seen her this happy in a long time.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend, Disick. During an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, he admitted that he feels uncomfortable seeing his baby mama with other men.
