The anime is entering quite an interesting territory as Luffy, and the others get ready for the grand battle. Sadly, there is no One Piece Episode 957 airing on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021.

The makers have unveiled the new release date. It is likely the staff behind the anime are on a break due to holidays. One Piece Episode 957 is now postponed to Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021.

With Episode 956, the showrunners celebrated the conclusion of the second act. Now, with One Piece Episode 957, fans prepare for the third act.

The teaser trailer for the upcoming episode shows that big news will be revealed during the episode. Meanwhile, in the last One Piece episode, Kaido is delighted to announce a big party on the night of the Fire Festival.

Moreover, Big Mom and Kaido also unveil big news to their subordinates. They reveal Kaido and Big Mom have joined forces against the enemies.

It means that in the future, the Big Mom Pirates and the Animal Kingdom Pirates will use their collective powers to tackle Zoro, Luffy, and the others.

Elsewhere, the allies assemble to discuss the strategy. During the meeting, Kawamatsu reveals that Kozuki is alive, and the allies are surprised to learn this. Many are unable to contain their happiness when they learn about Kozuki.

Elsewhere, Kozuki expresses that she will not meet the allies as she doesn’t want them to get emotional before a big battle. Later, in the installment, the allies meet Tenguyama Hitetsu, who is a renowned swordsmith from the Land of Wano.  

He reveals that he has been awaiting the day for two decades when he can return the swords to Kozuki and Momonusuke.

The precious swords belonged to Oden, and he wants to give them to the rightful owners. Ame No Habakiri is a blade that can cut heaven in two. The second blade, named Enma, has the capability to slice through the bottom of hell.

Along with Shusui, the two swords are among the 21 Excellent Grade Swords. He asks Momonusuke what he wants to do with the sword. Momonusuke reveals that he is not ready yet. However, he clarifies that he is not scared, but he wants Hitetsu to keep it with him for now.
