Jennifer Lopez’s decision to not wear her engagement ring all the time is sparking rumors about her relationship with Alex Rodriguez.

According to Woman’s Day, Lopez is purposely not wearing her ring because she’s not even sure if she wants to marry Rodriguez.

However, the actress always tells her family and friends that she just keeps forgetting to wear the ring so that they wouldn’t know what’s going on in the relationship.

A source told the tabloid that Lopez’s feelings for Rodriguez changed from the time that they got engaged to today.

After all, Lopez allegedly fears that marrying Rodriguez means losing a huge sum of money because the former athlete doesn’t want to sign a prenup.

Additionally, the insider said that it took a lot of effort before Lopez agreed to wed Rodriguez because she vowed to herself that she will not get married again after her split from Marc Anthony.

However, none of the tabloid’s claims are correct. According to Gossip Cop, they spoke to a source close to Lopez and were told that the rumors aren’t true.

The rumor-debunking site also confirmed that Lopez doesn’t always were her engagement ring in public. But they offered a reason why this may be the case.

On one occasion, the World of Dance judge was photographed wearing a casual ensemble while hanging out with her friends.

Gossip Cop said that it’s possible Lopez doesn’t always want to wear flashy clothes and accessories. As such, her $5 million engagement ring may not mesh well with her casual outfit.

If Lopez and Rodriguez are having problems in their relationship, they would’ve already called it off. Since the couple is living together, there would have already been news that they have decided to live separately.

However, the only reason why Lopez and Rodriguez’s wedding hasn’t pushed through is because of COVID-19.

In April, Rodriguez said that if there’s one positive thing that came out of the pandemic, it’s definitely being able to spend more time with Lopez and their kids.

He said that he’s thankful to see his daughters grow up right before his eyes. And knowing that they still find him funny is a plus.

Around the same time, Lopez also penned a sweet tribute to Rodriguez on his birthday.

In her caption, the singer called Rodriguez “my love,” “mi macho,” and “Amor mio.”
